Seed Meets Technology

Seed meets Technology is the event that revolves around innovative seed technology, variety assortment and adding value to horticultural seed. In addition to a fair with more than 50 participants from home and abroad, the event consists of trial fields, water cultivation and a program with various lectures and symposia.

The initiators behind the event are Incotec, Seed Processing Holland, TeaL Agro Technologies and Vertify. It was jointly decided in 2014 to strengthen the program in week 39 with themes such as seed treatment, seed processing equipment, phenotyping, sustainable crop protection and cultivation systems. The three-day event takes place in Vertify’s industrial halls and test fields. More than 1700 visitors visit the show every year, the majority of which come from outside the Netherlands.

Vegetable Trials

The Vegetable Trials include the demonstration fields around Vertify. In the field, seed companies are showing their existing and new varieties of varieties. Guided tours can be booked daily. Sakata’s open days are also located across the street from Seed meets Technology.
